Waffles Caffe

We are just in town for a day, saw good reviews and it was close to our hotel - so we gave it a try. Very busy - but very quick, efficient, and friendly staff; and the food was great with sizable portions (think most people could make 2 meals out of just about any meal ordered). My omlette was good, they were very nice about making substitutions to accommodate Keto (skip the gravy, sub’d a side salad for hash browns). My husband’s burger was on oversized bun and the meat still extended beyond the bun. Thumbs up!

Perfect for when you need a solid, unfussy, gloriously hearty breakfast as you're driving down I-82. Huge omelets, crispy hashbrowns you can smother with whatever you like, and of course, waffles. Not fancy, but you weren't looking for fancy, were you. Easy on and off the highway, easy parking, family-friendly, pretty good coffee.

Always a good go to when you don't want to make breakfast. It's usually very busy but they are pretty quick at the locations I've been too.

Just got to town and saw this place.... Got inside to a very warm welcome from the staff. Order strawberry crepes with side of bacon....Yum! Crepes were perfect with just enough strawberries and bacon was thick and tasty!. Friend ordered the Country Benedict and could not finish but said it was excellent.... Give this place a try. Highly recommend and will be going back during my stay..

Love this place. Won their food challenge. Now I get free coffee every time I go in. Plus, food is pretty good. Today had the breakfast burrito. Probably one of the best I have had.

Great breakfast menu, the service is excellent, my food came out within 10 mins of ordering it, and the food is delicious. I'm certain the manager served me. No mimosas offered, but she told me to bring in my own cup next time. They have a sense of humor too. Hardest working team I've scene in the industry in quite some time. Best breakfast in Yakima.

Best breakfast I've had for so long... got the big foot breakfast it didn't disappoint. First time goer and want top go back for more. Yakima is pretty cool

Friendly and very fast service! Great food in good portions. The chicken tenders could have been a bit bigger but I got filled up by the amount fries they had given. Clean establishment and the atmosphere of the place seems a bit country. When I didn't want the country fried steak cuz it had gravy on it (the gray had sausage in it and I don't eat pork) they had no problem getting me something else to eat. :)

Great breakfast stop with easy access from freeway, gluten-free waffles with generous toppings and hot chocolate.

Delicious food done super fast. Wouldn't recommend the breakfast pizza waffle, but we had the hash browns with all the vegetables and they were outstanding. The strawberry shortcake waffle was great as well. The waffle was more soft than crispy but the bavarian creme on it was excellent.

How amazing is this place! The staff is so friendly and personable and the food is... WOW! This is one of the few places in Yakima my fiancé and I can eat at due to the fact that I have Celiac disease (my body doesn’t recognize gluten and breaks down my digestive tract instead of the gluten itself). Waffles Cafe has a gluten free menu, they cook their gluten free products on dedicated stoves and whatnot AND they have dedicated gluten free plates that they serve the food on. So excited we found a place where we both can enjoy a wonderful meal! Thank you, Waffles Cafe!!

Was crowded and was told it would be awhile but we were seated, order taken and served our food with in 20 minutes. The portions are very large, delicious and worth the price. Would highly recommend this place.

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy! We were in from out of town and I am gluten free, which makes going out hard. This place was amazing, and had real home cooked meals. The price was way cheaper than I had anticipated. I would recommend it to everyone. They had tons of gluten free options.

The food is excellent and the service is very good. I only wish the business hours were longer.

We tend to switch back and forth between this one and the 72nd one. The staff is great and the food came quickly. The servers know their products and were able to offer insight about the sausage for my gluten free friend. Awesome place.

Love this location and highly recommend. It's clean and homey. The staff is always friendly and excellent at remembering repeat orders. The food is almost always perfect and if it's not they will one hundred percent fix it with a smile. AND the prices are very reasonable. More than enough food for the $.

Amazing food and excellent service. The cook had turned off the waffle iron so the waiter brought pancakes to hold us over and then brought out the waffles that were ordered. Boomer would have been upset but we had time.

Never had a meal here that I didn't like. Large portions and great food. Eggs Benedict are my favorite but they have terrific waffles and omelets. Service is usually fast and efficient but they can get packed. Worth the wait.

Waffles is a popular place - tons of hikers and athletes and families are eating here...that's quite a recommendation.It's busy in here - but, to their credit, they turn tables efficiently. It's also very modest in aesthetic, if you care about that.The food is good and reasonably priced. I enjoyed my Monte Cristo, and everyone with French Toast loved it. Eggs Benedict was solid. The one letdown was the Steak Tips, which were too chewy.I must compliment the staff here - they were nice and quick and accurate. Grace under pressure in a restaurant filled to capacity.

Fantastic pizza with vegan and gluten free options. Love it!!! They have parking in the back too. Really great to run in grab a couple slices n run home.

I always get outstanding service here! Waiters are always on it! And food is amazing and the food comes out pretty quick! Love this place!!!

A lot of people claim that the hidden Gem of Yakima is Miner's, but I believe they are wrong Waffles Cafe is a place you will never forget, with amazing food, large portions, and staff that are very good at their jobs. Met on of the owners Jason, who was very kind, and an amazing cook. A place everyone needs to experience. Kudos and 2 thumbs up

Amazing food. Great portions. Very friendly staff. Mike was a great waiter and made sure to check up on us frequently. I wish the crepes came with fresh fruit instead of frozen fruit syrup, kind of ruined it for me. But the omelette was superb!

Very impressed with this place. It was very busy and they got us in right away. Friendly greeter. Amazing service even with the place packed. Food was excellent, I had scrambled eggs Florentine. Definitely going back when I’m back in Yakima.

Found this little gem while on a road trip. Easy access off and on the highway. Cafe was busy and obviously a local favorite, seated within 5 minutes arriving. Service was quick and attentive. Food portions were good sized at reasonable prices. They understood "crispy bacon". If you enjoy cafes, this is a must stop.

I love this Cafe! The food is amazing and I can't say enough about the staff there. Even though this is a very busy place, they get the food out in short order. And with a smile! I especially like that they have gluten free options.

It was unfortunately the worst service we have experienced here. The food wasnt as good as it has been in the past either. We will be back due to the lack of better options and hopefully it will be back up to par.

One of my favorite places to have breakfast in town. Tried the ironman breakfast challange. Failed... gonna get it next time!

When you walk in very clean and bright atmosphere, Sat down and waitress was right there to greet us! Gave us some waters and said she'd be back! She was back shortly and took our order, Our order arrived shortly thereafter, it was hot and very appetizing looking! It didn't disappoint, very good and flavorful,and not short on amount food! Everything done perfect! Waitress was very friendly and helpful! Awesome menu with alot of choices, very tough decisions on what to have! Will definitely go back! Can't wait to try other menu items, Seeing the waffles go by you can see where they get the restaurants name from! Give them a try you won't be disappointed!

Breakfast omelets and scrabmles are great! They have gluten free options. Never had any issues with cross contamination. Mostly just breakfast food, limited lunch/dinner selection.

Very good and fast service

This is the best breakfast place in the area! The waffles are impossibly fluffy! Pictured is a half eaten (sorry 😐) breakfast pizza waffle. It was too good not to dive into immediately! Also, our server Mike is always fast and friendly and on his game! I never went thirsty and my coffee never got cold despite the busy morning.

So good! The waffles are so good, they ar not dry at all, I really dislike when the waffles are dry, but the ones here aren't dry at all. I loved coming here.

If they brought back cinnamon roll French toast I would have given 5 stars for this visit. This place is worth the wait and here is why;1. Staff is kind, friendly and quick. This place is busy so if your table is not sure what they want to order your experience will be much more pleasant if you hve them come back when the table is ready. 2. Economical. I would suggest one plate for two people.3. Food is delicious. Today I had the ultimate omelet - delicious!
